So this is pretty self explanatory, I came home from work today and as I was flipping through channels I found out that one of my favorite movies was playing, Can't Buy Me Love.
The movie was made in 1987 its a comedy with what some people may think is a little bit of romance too. It stars Patrick Dempsey and Amanda Peterson. It is the original version of the movie Nick Cannon and Christina Millian remade a few years back. It's basically about a typical nerd in high school becoming popular after making a deal with the most popular girl in their school, Amanda Peterson. I don't want to give away too much about the movie or what happens so I definitely recommend you watch this, you won't be disappointed!!!

I think he is gonna be 100 times hungrier and I really want to see what he chooses to write about and how the public reacts to it. The watercraft by Wally-Hermes Yachts, dubbed WHY for short, are the perfect mix of luxury and “green” living. Kanye: Rehab?
So unless you've lived under a rock for the past 2 weeks I'm sure you've already heard about what Kanye did at VMA's, so I'm not going to go get into all that. But I do wanna blog about the end result, and what Ye is going through now.
For example Kanye is receiving so much hate from the mass media. I wonder if he would of done this to someone like Maino or even huge hip hop icons like Lil Wayne or Jay-Z would he still be receiving all of this negative attention, or is he getting this abuse just because its a sweetheart country singer from middle America?
However, the Louis Vutton don just received a huge offer from the WWE. Reportedly, the offer is $10 million dollars for 3 events including a PPV event. Can you say marketing genius? Can you think of anyone else most of America would rather see getting thrown around the ring by The Big Show or John Cena? I didn't think so. Everyone will tune into watch this; Kanye fans, Kanye Haters, and even the regular WWE viewers. Even when Mr. West is being hated on he is still making money.
However, not everything is all peaches and roses in the life of Kanye West. As we all know Kanye was drunk out of his mind on the night of the VMA's, apparently downed about a bottle of Hennessy. Now a lot of Ye's close family and friends are encouraging him to go to rehab or get help. Some people say now because he is a "functioning alcoholic" he still puts out quality music and ideas and makes a ton of money. What's your take on this, do you think the Chi-town native should go to rehab and his fellow "functioning alcoholics" or its only necessary for "non-functioning alcoholics should go?

Like Mother, Like Son?
How do you guys feel when you see one of your parents getting into an argument/fight with someone else? Well I get really tense and upset. It's not because I fear confrontation, but it is because I just hate seeing someone talking disrespectful to one of my parents. The reason for this blog is because I was just put into this situation.
So as I was walking in my door today coming home from school I saw my mom walking my dog up the stairs and then all of a sudden my cousins (either his mom, or my aunt, owns the house) fiancé (she is I hate using this word but a "bitch") who was also walking her dog coming inside at the same time. I went upstairs then I heard them arguing about something to do with a light. I knew from the start this was going to a bad thing and I wanted no part of it. First off, it really upsets me when I see my mom fighting with someone, especially with family (whether I like them or not). Anyway the fight continued for about 15 minutes, and it seemed like they started arguing about how we were noisy. The whole time it reminded me about my old apartment and how my old landlord would always try and strong arm us (if that's the right saying) anyway he always tried to take advantage of my mom and my family, talking about how we are too loud or about rent, it was always something. I even remember one day when we were moving out he was trying to say we still owed him money and he wanted to talk to my mom 1 on 1 but my mom did not want that to happen because she would feel like she was being "bullied" and she would feel a lot better if I came. She claimed she doesn't feel nervous and she feels a lot more confident when I am beside her. This makes me feel real good knowing that my confidence can be contagious to someone else. The end result of that was we won. This time I don't know what is going to happen because the landlords are my aunt and cousin so my aunt will have the last say, not to mention she and my mom don't see eye to eye on some issues (but that's a different entry).
Seeing my mom argue always fuels me up because this is the woman that got me in the position I am in. She is literally everything to me and whenever I see her upset or fighting/arguing with someone it always gets to me. In my eyes she can never be wrong. It's almost like the way a mother feels about a son, a mother will claim her son is innocent even if the son is being accused of murder and she saw him do it lol. I guess its just the relationship you have with your mom or father or even guardian for that matter that will make you feel the way you feel sometimes.
Bottom line is that when I saw my mom fighting I was pumped/nervous I did not want the issue to get any bigger than it already was and no matter what happened I had my moms back the whole time.
I was wondering do you guys ever feel this way when you see someone you love in an altercation. I think its a true test of character and shows how much you love someone. I really had to write about this because it was on my mind since I got home. I just wanna say I LOVE YOU MOM and WE ARE GONNA MAKE IT I PROMISE!!!!

Seems Like Everyone's Getting Happier Slowly But Surely
Just like the title says it "Seems Like Everyone's Getting Happier Slowly But Surely". Let me evaluate on this. So I been hanging out with my firends a lot lately (well I always do cus I feel like I got the best/realest friends on earth but thats a different story) and it seems like everyone is just on like cloud 9. I mean I am the last one to complain about my life cus my life is the shhhhhhh, but I guess its just nice/weird seeing everyone so happy.
Out of everyone let me tell you about Jay. So Jay just got a girlfriend, the first that I can remember of, and he is just dumb hype about her. They've been going out for about 2 weeks, and I'm sure that they have been possibly the best 2 weeks of his life lol, (I once knew how he felt lol but thats another story). Anyway he's been hanging out with her a lot lately, so me and Danny specifically have seen a little less of him, but thats good for him and us because it lets both of us develop more individually. I hope Jay continues to stay happy and gets everything he wants out of this young relationship
Another one of my friends who have been feeling really happy as of late has been Jenny. Jenny has been happy for almost the same reason as Jay. She's recently taken an interest in my boy/rapper friend Jam Young. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, and she has wanted too for some time now but did not know how to do it, so she came to me and I helped her. It made me feel really good to help somebody, and be a good friend when I was needed. And now look at it she found some interest in my friend Jam. I hope jenny gets what she wants out of this lust/relationship and so does my boy Jam Young.
I also gotta give a ton of props to my best friend and brother Kill Keith, he had a big day on Saturday, he got his first varsity start as junior for Holy Cross High School. They went into New Rochelle and showed them how Queens plays football in a historical 49-42 come-from-behind upset victory in overtime vs. the Iona Prep Gaels. I could not be any prouder, even though he did not make any huge highlights he still held his own and started as a junior. I wish him all the best of luck, health, and hope his skills continue to devlop because things can only go up from here. We got you Killa and kill it this year (no pun intended lol)!!!
Another one of my friends whose doing his thing when it comes to sports is Jam. He recently joined the Brooklyn College Cross Country team. He's had like 2 meets so far and from what I hear he is doing good. Running Cross Country can only help his basketball career because he has some serious skills on the court. I hope he continues to do well so he becomes one of the premier runners on his team!
Finally another one of my boys who is doing really good from an athletic point of view is my boy Danny. Danny is getting ready for the New York 2010 Golden Gloves Tournament in January and I wish him the best of luck. He's been going to the gym and training about 6 days a week. (This is another reason why me, him and Jay really haven't seen eachother too often as of late). Kid could not be any more hyped for the gloves, but I know he could be more focused,(I will take some blame for that because I sometimes pressure him into coming out when he shouldn't), but anyways he is really happy and confident with where he stands right now, and that too makes me happy. Good Luck Danny and like you say LET'S GET IT!!!
Bottom line, is that a bunch of people who are real close to me are making big strides in their lives and it's nice to see other people happy. Big ups to everyone I've mentioned I hope all 5 of you guys get what you want in what your embarking on whether it's love or athletic achievements.

Filet Mignon to Hamburger Helper
Wass good so I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I know a lot of people gonna say this sucks and hey if definitely does. But I'm looking at it like its something good. So my aunt got a new car and gave her old one to my cousin and my cousin gave his old one to me. This means that I have my new car but the bad thing is that its a bright ass ugly teal 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier SMH! So yup this means that I am no longer gonna b driving my pops car, a 2006 GMC Envoy. DAYUUUUUUMMMMMM this suckkkkkkks lol but hey at least I got my own whip now. Besides the recession was starting to get to me too, I was barely having enough money to put gas in it. It cost like $60-$70 to fill up the tank at least now this car is gonna cost like maybe $40. So next time you guys see me I'm prolly gonna be riding in the hoopty so don't be scared its just me. Don't worry tho cus once I sign that deal and get like maybe the 3rd check (the first 1 is goin to my mom so she get herself her own house, and the second is goin to the bank!) I'm gonna be riding around in like a Range Rover!

What a First Day
So yesterday was my first day at my new internship at Madison Square Garden(wow I love saying that) lol and it could not of been better. I met the other intern who I will be working with for the next 3-4 months and he's mad chill. I also moved into my office and got to know a ton of new people who all said that I am going to have a great time working with my boss, Derek Smith. I knew it was gonna be a real hands on internship when I walked into Derek"s office and he was on his blackberry, office phone, walkie talkie, and us at the same time.
Tell me on my first day I got to see one of my idols. This guy is like an idol to even some of my other idols. I saw none other than the great Jay-Z. He was at a press confrence announcing his benefit concert at Madsion Square Garden on September 11 (also the same day his new album the Blue Print 3 drops, go buy it). Then we walked into like this back room where there was like a restaurant and game room, it was a gorgeous room. I was chillin over there waiting for Jay-Z to do the interview and on his way he walked right past me. I swear I felt like a 15 year old who just saw a Jonas Brother, I was buggginnn out lol.
All in all it was a great day Im crazy excited for the next 3 1/2 months I am gonna learn so much, grow so much, and become that better of a person. Im tellin you guys I'm gonna make it, this is just another step and I'm gonna be grindin alllll day everyyyy day!
